Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
‘Do You Believe This?’
A week of a variety of events at different locations, where Christians from many denominations, meet together to pray and think about the theme of Belief.
It begins with a Christian Jewish dialogue on Thursday 16th and ends with a Muslim Christian dialogue on the 26th.
All are welcome.

Come and have lunch with us!
Bring your favourite dish, or buy something from the local supermarket, and we’ll spend time chatting, eating and drinking, and getting to know each other.
Please label the ingredients of your contribution, so that those with allergies ,can eat safely.

Brisbane Boys College Concert
Come along to hear the orchestra and choir of the Brisbane Boys College December 3rd at 20.00.

Brisbane Boys’ College (BBC) is an independent day and boarding school for boys located in Brisbane, Australia. Established in 1902, this prestigious college caters for boys from Prep all the way to Year 12.
Brisbane Boys’ College runs many different music ensembles, the four that are on this tour include the College Strings, Collegians (choir), Brass Ensemble and Woodwind Quintet. All ensembles feature students who are dedicated to furthering their technical and musical skills all whilst performing at the highest level. These international music tours allows students multiple opportunities to perform across the world in new places and encounter new cultures.
This is something that their Head of Performance Music and the Director of Strings at Brisbane Boys’ College, Theo Kotzas wants all his music students to experience. Theo conducts the String ensembles and teaches instrumental lessons at the school. He is a board member of the Queensland Youth Orchestra and has recently been appointed a State Examiner for the Australian Music Examination Board. With his guidance, the Brisbane Boys’ College will be presenting a varied programme, of both classical and more contemporary works as well as audience favourites throughout their musical tour of Europe.

Remembrance Day Service with Choral Eucharist at St Mark’s Church at 10.30, followed by a short service of Remembrance at the War Cemetery in Al Girone at 15.00
A service of Choral Eucharist where we remember all those who died in wars.
At 15.00 we will be at Florence War Cemetery in Via Aretina 34, San Jacopo Al Girone
for a short Remembrance Service.
Please feel free to join us.
All Souls Service
At 6pm we come together to remember those who have died and have a short, meditative service in their memory.
Prayers are said and candles are lit.
If you wish for the name of your loved one to be read out, please contact our administrator Sofia, by 10am Friday 1st November.

The charismatic Phillip Dyson tours beautiful Florence and St Mark’s English Church with a Concert featuring some of the world’s most popular and best loved Piano Classics. His programme will include Chopin Impromptu no. 2, Brahms Rhapsody in B minor, Debussy Clair de Lune, Scott Joplin Elite Syncopations and song arrangements by Cole Porter Anything Goes, Irving Berlin Cheek to Cheek and George Gershwin Oh, Lady Be Good and I’ll Build A Stairway To Paradise.
