LENT COURSE
St Mark’s is running a 5-week Lent Course entitled, ‘Celebrating Nicaea’.
This year, 2025, marks 1700 years since the Council of Nicaea took place.
From it came a creed that later evolved into the Nicene creed which we say each Sunday; a vital statement of orthodox Christian belief.
Nicaea is now Iznik in modern-day Turkey and is within our diocese, the Diocese of Europe.
Two identical, 5 week courses, at different times.
Wednesday 12 March at 12.30
Thursday 13 March at 19.30
Please let administrator know which one you want to attend.
